How AdaptivOps handles your information.
Stated clearly, in plain language, with the same care we apply to the systems we build.
Last updated · June 2026This policy describes what information AdaptivOps collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and what control you have over it. We’ve written it the way we’d want to read it — directly, without legalese where it isn’t necessary.
Scope of this policy.
This privacy policy applies to information collected through the AdaptivOps website at adaptivops.com and through the Assessment and intake processes connected to it. It covers visitors browsing the site, people who submit the Free Assessment form, and clients engaged in active partnerships.
AdaptivOps LLC operates from St. Petersburg, Florida, and serves clients within the United States. This policy is written under United States privacy frameworks. Visitors from outside the United States who use the site do so understanding that their information will be processed in the US under US law.
Information we collect.
Information you provide directly.
When you submit the Free Assessment form, you provide information about yourself and your business. This includes your name, email address, phone number, business name, business website, industry, approximate annual revenue, the timeline on which you are looking to make improvements, and a written description of what you would most like to improve in your business.
The Free Assessment form also includes information generated by the Opportunity Cost calculator on that page. As described below, the values you enter into the assessment-page calculator and the estimate it produces are submitted together with the rest of your Assessment request.
If you contact AdaptivOps by email at support@adaptivops.com, you provide whatever information is included in your message.
Information collected automatically.
Like most websites, the AdaptivOps site automatically collects certain technical information when you visit. This may include your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, time spent on the site, and similar usage data. This information is collected through standard web technologies, including by the platform that hosts the site and by analytics services we may use.
Information from the Opportunity Cost calculator.
The AdaptivOps website includes an Opportunity Cost calculator in two places, and the two behave differently.
The version on the homepage runs entirely within your browser. The values you enter there are not transmitted to AdaptivOps and are not stored. That calculator exists only to give you a directional estimate.
The version on the Free Assessment page works differently and intentionally so. When you submit the Assessment form, the values you entered into that calculator — along with the estimated opportunity-cost figure it produced — are included as part of your request. That information is transmitted to AdaptivOps with the rest of your form submission and may be stored alongside it. If you use that calculator but do not submit the form, the values are not transmitted.
How we use information.
AdaptivOps uses the information collected for specific, limited purposes:
- Reviewing and responding to requests submitted through the Free Assessment form
- Conducting Assessment conversations and reviews with the people who request them
- Designing, building, operating, and refining the systems delivered to active clients
- Communicating with prospective and active clients about their requests, engagements, and operational matters
- Operating, maintaining, and improving the AdaptivOps website
- Understanding how the website is used so we can make it more useful
- Complying with legal obligations and protecting AdaptivOps’s legitimate business interests
AdaptivOps does not sell personal information to third parties. We do not use the information you provide for unrelated marketing, lead resale, or any purpose outside the scope of operating AdaptivOps and serving the people we work with.
How we share information.
AdaptivOps shares information only in the limited circumstances described below.
With service providers.
AdaptivOps uses third-party service providers to operate the website, process form submissions, host data, and deliver communications. These providers are described in Section 05. Information is shared with them only to the extent necessary for them to perform their function.
With clients (about their own engagements).
Information collected during a client engagement — about the client’s own business and operations — is shared with that client as part of the partnership. AdaptivOps does not share one client’s information with another client.
For legal reasons.
AdaptivOps may disclose information when required by law, in response to valid legal process, to protect the rights or safety of AdaptivOps or others, or in connection with a business transaction such as a sale or merger. If a transfer of this kind occurs, prospective and active clients will be notified of any material change in how their information is handled.
Service providers we work with.
The following categories of third-party service providers process information on AdaptivOps’s behalf. Each is bound by its own terms and privacy practices, and information shared with them is limited to what they need to perform their role.
- Website hosting. Squarespace hosts the AdaptivOps website. Visit data passes through Squarespace’s infrastructure under their privacy practices.
- Form processing. Formspree processes requests submitted through the Free Assessment form — including the calculator values described in Section 02 — and routes them to AdaptivOps by email.
- Email and communications. Standard email infrastructure is used to communicate with prospective and active clients. Messages are stored within those systems under standard email retention practices.
- Analytics services. AdaptivOps may use standard web analytics services (such as Google Analytics or similar tools) to understand how visitors use the site. These tools collect technical and usage information as described in Section 02.
- Operational tools. AdaptivOps uses internal operational tools to manage requests, engagements, and client work. These tools are selected with care for the data they handle.
Cookies and analytics.
The AdaptivOps website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are essential for the site to function. Others help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
Most browsers allow you to control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect how some parts of the site work, but the site will remain accessible.
AdaptivOps may use third-party analytics services to measure site usage. These services may set their own cookies and may collect information as described in their own privacy policies. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals because no consistent industry standard for them has been established.
How long we keep information.
AdaptivOps retains request and engagement information for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, and for a reasonable period afterward.
The reason we retain information beyond the immediate engagement: partnerships often involve long-term relationships, future expansion conversations, and historical context that remains useful. Someone who requests an Assessment and later becomes a client may benefit from the original request record still being available.
If you would like your information deleted, you can make that request at any time using the contact details in Section 13. We will honor the request within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal obligations to retain certain records.
Confidentiality of engagement information.
AdaptivOps treats prospective and active client information confidentially as a matter of professional standard. Information shared when you request an Assessment and during the Assessment and engagement phases — including business operations, financial context, strategic objectives, and operational systems — is treated as confidential and used only to understand fit, design and operate the engagement, and serve the client.
Specific confidentiality terms applicable to active client engagements are set out in the AdaptivOps service agreement, which is a separate document executed at the start of an engagement.
Your rights and choices.
Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights regarding your personal information under applicable state law (including the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar laws in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other states). These rights may include:
- The right to know what personal information AdaptivOps has collected about you
- The right to request a copy of the personal information AdaptivOps holds about you
- The right to request correction of inaccurate personal information
- The right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions
- The right to opt out of certain data uses, where applicable
- The right to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights
To exercise any of these rights, contact AdaptivOps using the details in Section 13. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
AdaptivOps does not sell personal information. We do not engage in targeted advertising based on personal information collected through the website.
How we protect information.
AdaptivOps takes reasonable measures to protect the information collected through the website and through engagements. This includes using established service providers with their own security practices, limiting access to personal information to those who need it, and applying operational discipline to how data is handled.
No method of transmitting or storing information over the internet is fully secure, and no security measure can be guaranteed to be perfect. AdaptivOps cannot guarantee the absolute security of personal information against unauthorized access. If a security incident occurs that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
Information about children.
The AdaptivOps website and services are intended for business use by adults. AdaptivOps does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information.
Changes to this policy.
AdaptivOps may update this privacy policy as our practices evolve, as new tools and services are introduced, or as required by law. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify prospective and active clients directly.
Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

We aim to respond to privacy-related inquiries within a reasonable timeframe and within the limits required by applicable law.
